Metropolitan vase, 'Moche Wisdom'

Original contours define this ceramic vase, its central body enveloped in a vivid red mesh. The design is most representative of Peru's ancient Moche culture. Ruben Adanaque crafts the piece by hand, as geometric details exalt solid color contrasts. Ceramics such as this are entirely unique. Occasionally they may show slight variations of color or asymmetrical brushstrokes, but this only confirms their originality and authenticity.
